MAKE THEM SUFFER // NASHVILLE, TN
Halfway through their headlining tour, Make Them Suffer brought the chaos to Nashville, TN, making a stop at Eastside Bowl — a unique concert venue housed in an old Kmart, complete with a bowling alley. The tour lineup was stacked, featuring support from Windwaker, Aviana, Like Moths to Flames, and, of course, the headliners, Make Them Suffer.
Aviana kicked off the night with a punch, delivering a set packed with fan favorites, including their latest single “STORM ABLAZE.” Their intensity set the tone for an evening destined for high energy. Windwaker followed, turning up the heat with a charged performance featuring tracks from their latest album, “HYPERVIOLENCE.” Their dynamic stage presence and infectious energy got the crowd moving and singing along.
Main support Like Moths to Flames took the stage next, raising the intensity even further. Frontman Chris Roetter commanded the crowd, reminding everyone to keep their feet moving and urging them to jump. They tore through hits like “Habitual Decline,” “Over the Garden Wall,” and “Bury Your Pain” — a setlist designed to ignite chaos in the pit. By the time they wrapped up, the venue was packed wall-to-wall with eager fans, buzzing with anticipation for the main event.

Just before 9:30, the lights dimmed and strobes lit up the room as Make Them Suffer stormed the stage. They opened with the brutal “Epitaph,” immediately following it with “Bones.” After the opening assault, frontman Sean Harmanis paused to address the crowd, sharing how surreal the tour felt for the band — a dream come true they still couldn’t quite believe.
The band pressed on with a hard-hitting set, firing off fan favorites like “Ghost of Me” and “Oscillator” with razor-sharp precision. The crowd was relentless — moshing, screaming, and crowd surfing — feeding off the band’s raw intensity. The connection between Make Them Suffer and their fans was intense, creating an atmosphere that was both electric and emotional.
By the time they closed with the crushing “Doomswitch,” the room was a chaotic blur of sweat and adrenaline. As the set seemed to conclude, the band left the stage — only to return moments later to deliver a powerful encore of “Widower,” sending the crowd into one final frenzy. From Aviana’s explosive opener to Make Them Suffer’s powerful finale, the night was a testament to the strength and passion of the metalcore community. Nashville won’t be forgetting this one anytime soon.
